Steiger 105

This Steiger is the first model 105 built during the winter of 1958-59. Maurice and Douglas thought if they built a tractor half the size of the Number One their father John could keep the Big Tractor busy doing the heavy work and they could do the lighter work at the same time.

Steiger 105 serial 105-1

This model 105 is the first Steiger tractor to have a serial number, 105-1. A close neighbor of the Steigers, Edgar Naplin had seen the first 105 hard at work and he approached the Steigers about having one built for him. Edgar supplied the axel out of his 1937 Allis Chalmers WC to be used in the build. This 105 was built during the winter of 1959-60.

Steiger 105 serial 105-4

This 105 was the fourth Steiger built so it became serial number 105-4. Henry Skalla, another neighbor to the Steigers also asked to have the Steigers build him a tractor. This 105 is even more unique because Henry wanted a tractor with a PTO.
